SugaRich respects the privacy of all whom it deals with, including: customers, employees, business relations and website visitors.  We believe it is key that personal information is treated confidentially and that privacy legislation is observed. This privacy statement sets out how we process personal data.

 

- Who is responsible for your data?

 

Factory Services UK Limited t/a SugaRich together with other members of its Group of Companies (“SugaRich”) are responsible for the processing of personal data. Our Registered Office is located at Unit 8, Minster Court, Tuscam Way, Camberley, Surrey, GU15 3YY.

 

- When does SugaRich collect your personal data?

 

Personal data would include for example: name, address, date of birth, telephone number, email or IP address.  We collect personal data if for example you fill in a form, send a letter or email, or call our customer services department.  You also provide your personal data when you visit one of our websites, or enter your data there, or at one of our depots, or with one of our employees.  Your personal data is collected if you are a customer, potential customer or business contacts with SugaRich.

 

- Use of personal data

 

We use your personal data to help run our business and specifically:

 

(a)        we process personal data for implementing agreements and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.  We base our requirement for this kind of processing on the performance of agreements and our legitimate interests with respect to maintaining relationships and contacts that are necessary for normal business operations.  

 

SugaRecycle Client Log In Area (“SCLA”)

 

We also process personal data such as login data when customers register via the SCLA portal.  This portal provides customers with a view of their company details.  Using this information made available via SCLA, our customers can have speedy access to their records. We base this use on our legitimate interests.

 

Job seekers provide consent for us to retain data such as contact details and CVs that have been forwarded to us.  With this information SugaRich can assess whether a job seeker will be invited for an interview.

 

Invoice and payment data for example is processed for the financial administration and internal controls.  The basis of this processing concerns the performance of a contract.

 

In order to ensure the security of people, visitors to our premises are asked to leave their name and business details.  We use CCTV in our plants.  Personal data in such cases is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests with respect to security. 

 

Who can we share your personal data with?

 

We will not sell your personal data on to third parties and will only use it as set out above.  

 

- Exchanging information within the SugaRich Group

 

If you are a customer of ours, then your personal data may be exchanged within our Group of companies.  This can be done for administrative reasons and in order to obtain a total overview of your company and the products that you purchase from SugaRich.  We base that processing of data on our legitimate interest since these activities form part of our normal business operations.

 

- For how long is your personal data kept?

 

We keep personal data for no longer than necessary for the above-mentioned purposes.  The retention period for personal data depends on the purpose for which it is being used.  In doing this, account is taken of the legal retention period that applies, the reasonable expectation that the personal data may still be used for the purpose they were originally obtained and with the legitimate interests of SugaRich.  As soon as such personal data is no longer required they are made anonymous or deleted.

 

- Request for access, correction, deletion, objections and data transfers

If you have access to SCLA then you have access to a large part of your personal data that have been collected. You can at any time request a change or to request the deletion of some of the information.
